Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Edition Costs $239,000

Cadillac is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a limited-edition Escalade-V, combining exclusive styling, personalised details and a supercharged V8.

Just 252 examples will be produced, with prices starting at $239,000 (approximately £180,000).

The Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Edition forms part of the American manufacturer’s Collector Series, offering buyers a more exclusive version of its already expensive performance SUV.

Visually, the anniversary model receives unique 24-inch forged alloy wheels, blue brake callipers and extensive carbon fibre detailing.

The lightweight material features around the grille, door mirrors, lower rear bumper and engine cover, giving the substantial SUV a more distinctive appearance.

Cadillac has also introduced special exterior paint finishes and a bespoke two-tone interior with blue contrast stitching. Other details include illuminated door sill plates, exclusive floor mats, a commemorative key fob and heritage-inspired V8 puddle lights.

Buyers can even select their vehicle’s serial number and a personalised VIN, adding another element of exclusivity to the limited production run.

Despite the additional equipment, the anniversary edition retains the regular Escalade-V’s mechanical specification.

Power comes from a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 producing 680bhp and 653lb ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic gearbox distributes power to all four wheels.

Cadillac quotes a 0–60mph acceleration time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 125mph. Those figures are particularly impressive considering the Escalade-V weighs more than 2.8 tonnes.

The biggest difference, however, is the price.

At $239,000, the anniversary edition costs approximately $69,000 more than the standard Escalade-V, which starts at around $170,000.

With only 252 vehicles planned, Cadillac is clearly targeting collectors who value exclusivity and bespoke detailing as much as outright performance.

For those buyers, the appeal isn’t additional horsepower. It’s owning one of the rarest versions of Cadillac’s flagship performance SUV.
