The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed will shine its spotlight on Singer Vehicle Design, with the Californian Porsche specialist confirmed as the event’s Central Feature marque.
For a company founded in 2009, it’s a remarkable nod from one of the world’s most prestigious automotive gatherings.
The Goodwood Central Feature is never subtle. Designed by Gerry Judah and positioned dramatically outside Goodwood House, the structure traditionally celebrates major manufacturers with cars suspended in gravity-defying poses.
In 2026, it will honour Singer’s influence on modern Porsche culture, bringing together a collection of its reimagined 911s in what organisers promise will be a celebratory showcase of the brand’s impact.
Singer has built its reputation by reworking the Porsche 911 into exquisitely engineered, meticulously detailed machines that blend heritage design with modern performance.
Over the years, the Festival of Speed has also served as a launchpad for key models, including the DLS, DLS Turbo and Carrera Coupe.
Given that history, few would be surprised if another debut accompanies the display when the event returns in the second weekend of July 2026.
Founder Rob Dickinson described the selection as “startling, humbling and oddly appropriate,” noting the importance of Goodwood in shaping the company’s identity.
Though based in California, Singer’s craftsmanship and philosophy draw heavily on British engineering culture, making its starring role feel fitting.
For UK enthusiasts, the 2026 Festival of Speed Central Feature promises not only visual theatre but a rare opportunity to see some of the world’s most coveted 911 reinterpretations displayed on an extraordinary scale.
