2006 Ford GT With Low-Mileage Heads to Auction

This 2006 Ford GT, showing just 3,900 miles from new, is one of those rare machines that feels almost untouched by time.

Now listed for auction on Bring a Trailer, the one-owner supercar comes with impeccable provenance and the kind of originality collectors actively hunt for.

This GT was delivered brand-new to Riverside Ford in Macon, Georgia. Completed in Midnight Blue with optional painted white stripes, it is one of only 190 vehicles produced in that colour for the model year out of 2,011 total.

The design still channels the GT40’s Le Mans legacy, wrapped around an extruded-aluminium space frame with aluminium body panels, dramatic side intakes, a vented hood, and a centre-exit exhaust.

Lightweight BBS wheels—18 inches up front and 19 at the rear—sit over Brembo brakes with grey-painted calipers, paired with period-correct Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.

Inside, the Ebony leather cabin blends race-bred intent with surprising comfort. Carbon-shelled Sparco seats face GT40-inspired instruments and toggle switches, while air conditioning and a McIntosh stereo soften the edges.

The digital odometer confirms the remarkably low mileage. Power comes from Ford’s supercharged 5.4-litre V8, rated at 550hp and 500lb ft, driving the rear wheels through a Ricardo six-speed manual and helical limited-slip differential.

Recently serviced in December 2025, this Ford GT isn’t just a collector’s piece—it’s a reminder of how thrilling analogue supercars once were.
