Ferrari Unveils Amalfi Spider: Open-Top Elegance Meets V8 Performance

Ferrari’s new Amalfi Spider is here, the convertible version of the Roma.

It keeps the speed of a front-engined V8 Ferrari but lets you enjoy it with the top down.

It uses the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo F154 V8 engine, but it now makes 640hp because of quicker turbos and lighter parts.

The car also has an updated chassis with ABS Evo brake-by-wire and Side Slip Control 6.1, which makes the handling better.

You can pick from Pirelli P Zero, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport, or Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.

The Amalfi Spider looks like Ferrari’s top-tier cars. It has a smooth shape that feels current and refined.

The new Rosso Tramonto color, which is based on the Amalfi Coast sunsets, looks great on the car.

The soft top goes down in 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 37mph. When it’s down, you still have 255 liters of trunk space, and the sound insulation is close to that of a hardtop.

The car also has a rear wing, diffuser, and wind deflector to make it more stable.

Ferrari thinks the Amalfi Spider is a mix of speed, style, and practicality. It’s good for driving on the coast or on twisty roads. It has the power of a race car but is still comfortable enough for everyday use.

The price will probably be a little higher than the £210,838 Roma.

People who already own a Roma may want to switch to the Spider, especially if they like colors like Verde Zeltweg.
