Good news for people who own classic Honda NSX cars!
Honda just started a Heritage Parts Program to help keep the first generation (1991-2005) Acura NSX on the road.
These cars are known for their mid-engine design and are considered legends.
This program has two kinds of parts available. First, there are exact copies of the original parts.
Honda is making these reproduction parts using the same materials and ways of making them as they did back in the day.

This keeps the cars looking and working just like they did when they were new. second, they also have Honda Compatible Parts. These parts are new and improved.
They use modern materials and the latest ways of making things.
The parts cover almost everything you might need to fix or maintain your NSX. You can find parts for the engine, the car’s frame, the inside, the outside, and even the electrical system.
This gives owners a complete solution for taking care of their cars.

Right now, it’s not clear if Honda will add other Acura or Honda cars to this program. But, this program is part of a bigger plan called Heritage Works, which also includes a restoration service in Japan.
For now, people in the U.S. can order parts through Acura dealerships starting this summer.
This is going to make it much easier and cheaper for NSX owners to find the parts they need to keep their cars running well.
This program shows that Honda is serious about keeping its most famous cars in good shape, even years after they stopped making them.
For people in the UK who love classic Japanese cars, this program shows something important.
Car companies are starting to see that it’s worth supporting older cars by making good replacement parts.
So, if you have a first-gen NSX, it’s about to get a lot easier to keep it in great condition. The ability to order parts begins soon.
