VANSPORTS Mercedes Vito 4×4 gains off-road bite

VANSPORTS.DE, a German company, has seriously upgraded the Mercedes-Benz Vito 119 CDI 4×4, making it much tougher.

This upgrade is for those who often drive off-road, mixing useful hardware with a bolder look.

VANSPORTS, teaming up with Autohausgruppe ROSIER (which runs 30 dealerships in Germany), has tweaked the updated W447-series Vito.

They’ve added a special lift kit that raises the ride height by about 35mm in the front and 40mm in the back.

Longer dampers keep things steady when turning, and it sports 7.5×18-inch Kiruna alloy wheels in matte black with 235/55R18 General Grabber AT tires.

This gives it even more space from the ground and better grip on gravel, mud, or sand.

The power stays the same, with the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel still producing 190hp and 440Nm, running through the standard 4×4 system.

The visual changes are pretty obvious. A bonnet attachment and a textured black grille with vertical slats beef up the front. Plus, extended wheel arch trims make the van about 20mm wider on each axle.

Matte black side graphics show off its off-road purpose, and a SOLID aluminium roof rack can hold up to 125kg – great for bikes, roof boxes, or tools.

These parts also fit the similar Mercedes-Benz V-Class, making it good for more than just business use.
