Britain has always had a soft spot for souped-up vans and trucks, and Volkswagen knows it.
The new Transporter Sportline lands more than 20 years after the first, continuing a legacy that turns everyday commercial vehicles into head-turning road warriors.
With lowered suspension, bold styling, and a cabin that blends practicality with sporty flair, it’s a van that refuses to blend in.

The Sportline sticks to the formula fans love: 29mm lower ride thanks to Eibach springs, 19-inch wheels, model-specific side skirts, a distinctive dogbone front bumper, and red-accented details that nod to the GTI family.
Inside, red Sportline embossing, illuminated metal scuff plates, and bespoke mats reinforce its status, while luxury touches like Matrix LED headlights, a heated leather steering wheel, and Keyless Access push the price beyond £60k.

Performance isn’t limited to appearance. Buyers can choose hybrid, diesel, or electric powertrains, with short wheelbase panel vans starting at £62,752 and long wheelbase versions just over £63k. Kombi models stretch to £66k.
And to celebrate 75 years of the VW Bus in 2026, Volkswagen is adding a Transporter Sportline 75 Special Edition in Moss Green with green contrast stitching and exclusive badges, priced from £65k.
The Sportline isn’t the only newcomer: the Commerce Pro S brings a subtler, design-focused alternative with 17-inch wheels, new splitters, and black detailing, from £53,086.
Yet for enthusiasts, it’s the Sportline that steals the show—a low, wide, purposeful van ready to dominate both car parks and dual carriageways in equal measure.
