Audi is bringing tactile feedback back to its cabin with updates to the 2027 A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron lineups, aiming to blend modern tech with driver-friendly usability.
A redesigned steering wheel that reintroduces physical scroll wheels, a move inspired by the automaker’s Concept C interior and aimed at restoring a more intuitive driving experience.
Inside, Audi hasn’t abandoned digital innovation. Both e-tron models feature updated software that promises a cleaner, more navigable interface.
Menus now boast sharper graphics, improved contrast, and fewer endless lists, while select screens display a 3D model of the owner’s exact car, including paint color—a subtle but premium touch that enhances personalization.

Despite these improvements, climate controls remain screen-operated, leaving a mix of old-school tactile elements and modern touchscreens.
Pricing reflects the lineup’s tech-forward yet accessible positioning. The 2027 A6 e-tron starts at $67,995 for the single-motor rear-drive version, with the dual-motor variant at $69,995 and the S6 e-tron from $80,895. The Q6 e-tron SUV begins at $65,795, with the sporty SQ6 e-tron at $74,495.
Sportback versions of the Q6 e-tron are slightly higher, starting at $69,595 and $76,895 for the SQ6. Early deliveries are expected in the second quarter of 2026, giving enthusiasts a first look at Audi’s latest blend of tactile and digital innovation.
