Jeep has doubled down on nostalgia—and horsepower. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 lands as the latest chapter in the brand’s year-long run of special editions, and it brings proper V8 muscle back into focus.
Part of Jeep’s “Twelve 4 Twelve” program, which promises 12 limited-run Wranglers in 12 months, this Willys-badged version leans heavily into heritage cues.
Block-letter “Willys” decals stretch across the bonnet, while a retro “4 Wheel Drive” graphic sits proudly on the tailgate.
It’s a deliberate nod to the original military-inspired models, albeit wrapped around a thoroughly modern off-roader.
The headline, however, is the 6.4-litre Hemi V8. Producing 470hp and 470lb ft of torque, it sends its soundtrack through a dual-mode exhaust and promises the sort of straight-line shove few SUVs can match.
Hardware is serious: 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tyres on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 11.1 inches of ground clearance, Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, a full-time transfer case and a 4.56 axle ratio.
Steel bumpers, rock rails and a cold-air intake with water separator underline its trail-ready intent.
Inside, there’s less mud-plugger and more modern comfort, with heated, power-adjustable Nappa leather seats and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.
Orders open in March, with US pricing from $71,990. UK availability remains unconfirmed, but for British enthusiasts watching the American market, this is another reminder that the V8 Wrangler era isn’t over just yet.
