If you’ve ever lost an afternoon building your dream Seven online, brace yourself.
The Caterham Seven 2026 update adds even more ways to personalise Britain’s most analogue sports car.
The headline change is colour. Buyers now have eight fresh paint options to play with.
Two join the standard, no-cost palette – Poppy Red and Blacksmith – while the £1,000 Premium range expands with Earl Grey, Viola Parsifae and Ice Forest Green, the latter previously seen on the Project V concept.

At the top end, the £1,250 Exclusive finishes introduce Chainmail Silver, Sunset Riot and Heritage Sage, broadening the visual appeal of everything from a pared-back 170 to a fully loaded 620.
Beyond paint, Caterham has quietly upgraded the core range.
Every model from the Super Seven 600 through to the 620 now features clear lenses housed in body-coloured headlight bowls, plus a matching body-coloured roll bar.
Inside, there’s a leather-trimmed transmission tunnel on both S and R variants, along with a new seat design fitted as standard on S cars and offered as an option on R models.
Crucially, these updates come at no extra cost.

That’s welcome news given UK pricing still starts at around £32,000 for a factory-built 660cc car.
The Seven remains a niche indulgence rather than a budget thrill, but added personalisation only strengthens its appeal.
For those unwilling to wait, the classifieds already feature everything from 360 and 420 derivatives to limited-run Encores – and even the occasional unregistered CSR.
